Dr. Meade’s Background
Dr. Meade’s interest in the field began by doing research in Plastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. From there, he continued his education at Duke University in North Carolina. Trained in both general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery, his passion grew and then remained in cosmetic surgery. Much of this was fueled by knowing the profoundly positive effect even a relatively simple procedure can have on an individual’s life.
Upon completion of his residency at Duke, he chose to refine his skills in the art of cosmetic surgery by completing an Aesthetic Surgery fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas and the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute (DPSI) under several true masters in the art of Plastic Surgery.
Today, Dr. Meade remains actively involved in education in cosmetic surgery by instructing and developing new plastic surgeons in training. He serves as Director of the Resident Cosmetic Clinic at Baylor Hospital and holds a faculty teaching position at the UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Meade is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
