Enhanced Curves with a Brazilian Butt Lift

Like liposuction, fat from your thighs, flanks, waist, lower back, or abdomen is extracted and purified in a device. The resulting purified fat is then strategically injected into the gluteal region, adding volume and a pronounced shape. Because the BBL uses harvested fat to recontour the body, the results are naturally beautiful and long-lasting.

Preparing for Your Brazilian Butt Lift

Properly preparing for your procedure is just as important as your aftercare. As such, Dr. Meade may ask several things of you in the weeks preceding your appointment.

For example, he may ask you to:

  • Undergo further medical evaluations and laboratory testing.
  • Adjust or cease your current medications and dietary supplements.
  • Cease smoking and the consumption of alcohol and drugs.
  • Make sure you are well-hydrated, especially in the days just before your procedure.

The BBL Procedure

In this procedure, fat is removed from another body area and then purified using a special process. Then, that fat is artfully reinjected into the buttocks, with no prosthetic implants necessary.

Volume and shape will be added to your buttocks, naturally enhancing your body's curves!

BBL Recovery and Results

In general, recovery after a Brazilian Butt Lift can take approximately six weeks. You should avoid sitting or lying directly on your backside during the first two weeks. You can sleep on your side or stomach, and sitting will require a doughnut-shaped inflatable seat—or a pillow will usually suffice.

After you've recovered, your butt will be larger and more pronounced and have an even, symmetrical, and smooth shape that looks great—in and out of jeans!

Your buttocks will 'settle in' and stabilize after 3 to 6 months. Most patients can expect the results of a Brazilian Butt Lift to last five years or more. In some cases, the results can last a decade if you follow all of the prescribed recommendations for aftercare.
